My learning journey with low-carb living began 20 years ago as a young mother with gestational diabetes. Today I am a Direct Primary Care nurse practitioner in a private clinic, Liberty Medical Clinic. I am licensed in family care, specializing in metabolic health. Bonners Ferry, Idaho, USA, is a beautiful valley close to the Canadian border, nestled between tall, rugged mountains. In our rural area, the idea of managing weight, high blood pressure, and type 2 diabetes with intermittent fasting and low carb diet is new, but catching on quickly, mainly because the principles work! People in our community are healthier, reducing or even getting off medications and feel like they have a new life.
