With convenience being more prevalent in today's society, unfortunately poor and non-nutritive food choices and the resultant poor health decline associated with this are becoming all too common. Cutting down on the calorie-rich and processed foods, including higher carbohydrate foods the majority of us do not need for our day-to-day activities , is paramount for society to lower our rates of obesity and the risks of metabolic disease seen riddled throughout our nations. By prioritizing natural, unprocessed, and primarily lower carbohydrate foods, obesity and metabolic disease can be reversed.
