I started to prescribe the therapeutic carbohydrate restriction diet in January 2020 to treat patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes, with success. More than 10 patients lost 10 kg, and 2 cases of diabetes were reversed. The results made me very happy and added a new perspective to my clinical practice. I first read about it in "Good Calories Bad Calories" by Gary Taubes, then read "The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living", and heard about Sami Inkinen rowing prowess. I then decided I would try it myself. That was when I felt the huge control in satiety, my fat percentage drop, and had improvements in mental focus.
