I am a GP in the south west of Ireland, a beautiful, but remote area. I always had an interest in disease prevention and a holistic approach towards my patients. However I certainly was guilty in telling them "to eat less and move more". I still cringe, but we didn't know better. I got interested in low carb about 7 years ago and it has changed how I feed my family and what I tell my patients. Since last year I run a dedicated Lifestyle Clinic in our practice, with now over 100 patients, that are healthier and happier, some of them have reversed their diabetes. It's fun to be a doctor again
