For years I followed the (erroneous) advice I learned in medical school, and which I constantly gave to my patients: Exercise more, eat less; never skip breakfast, eat six small meals a day ... But that advice didn't work for me just as it had never worked for my patients. In February 2017, at my highest weight ever, I discovered the growing evidence-based science for ketogenic eating and intermittent fasting -- and soon lost 50lbs. Now I support patients in adopting this simple, powerful dietary lifestyle to achieve much better health and greatly-improved quality of life.
