I have been practicing in primary care for over 5 years now and the most rewarding part of my job is getting to help people REVERSE "chronic" disease with lifestyle changes and, often, WITHOUT medication! I get the honor of sitting with patients, one-on-one, to talk about their disease states and goals, explain the pathophysiology of the diseases and educate patients so they can take charge of their health, and be a part of their disease reversal and weight loss journey. Being a patient advocate is the highlight of my career, and I am humbled to be able to walk alongside people in this way.
