My journey began as a personal one. Year after year, I was steadily gaining weight despite following what I believed to be a healthy lifestyle. I was seeing similar patterns in my patients. It occurred to me that perhaps the conventional dietary guidance was wrong. The calories in/calories out model was failing me and my patients. I began learning about low carb and intermittent fasting. Diet Doctor is an invaluable resource both for me and my patients.
